Filial Piety has a special status and role in Chinese moral tradition; it is the basis of Chinese traditional social ethics. As a foreign culture, Buddhism have discussed ideas of filial piety as early as in early India classics, after introduced into China, continuously developed and enriched to form a unique Chinese Buddhist Ethics of Filial Piety, it has a profound impact on the Chinese society. It can be said that the research on the Filial Piety in Chinese is very important for understanding Buddhism development and its impact on modern Chinese society. By methods of combining data sources with literature, unifying history and logic , this paper attempts to deeply analyze the Chinese Buddhism Filial Piety , and compares Filial Piety in Chinese Buddhism with that in Confucian ideology to more deeply dig the essence of Buddhism Filial Piety , in order to provide reference for moral, cultural building of contemporary society and harmonious society .This article is divided into four parts to discuss and study this problem. The origins of Filial Piety in Chinese Buddhism, the main content and main features are outlined in the first chapter. Early as Buddhism came to China, the Chinese society was undergoing the "Filial Piety" era, so the Buddhist concept of filial piety has been affected by Chinese Turkey, with particular emphasis on the contents of filial piety, which is not in India. Filial Piety in Chinese Buddhism is filial piety based on the causal theory and the concept of mercy, which are the main different characteristics between Filial Piety in Chinese Buddhism and others. The second chapter introduces the formatting of Confucian filial piety and it's debating with Buddhist ethics, explains the main contents, generation and development of filial ideas, its accusations to Buddhism filial ethics and responding of Buddhist scholars. Chapter three gives comparative analysis to the theoretical basis and connotation of filial piety of the Chinese Buddhism and Confucianism. As the social background and theoretical foundation in the ethic of Chinese Buddhist Confucian filial are different, the different of their connotation and extension appear. Chapter four introduces the impact of Chinese Buddhist Ethics of Filial Piety on modern society. Buddhist makes emphasis on maintaining "heart", that is, thinking from the human mind. Buddhism is a kind of education, and it teaches people to self-cultivation, which is great significance for a person to improve morality.
