National Tourism Development And Cultural Awareness

Ethnic tourism is a form of tourism raised in the national minority areas in western China, mainly refers to the characteristics of national culture as a tourist, and the local village is a showcase of the ethnic cultural.This paper will be from the perspective of a tourist destination, to study preliminarily the Tourism Development of Mosha Township, Xinping County of Yuxi City, in order to explore a new national tourism development model and to preserve the traditional cultural; also reflect that only relying on external forces can develop the national tourism, and whether those minority villagers have the ability to develop independently their own cultural resources. In a sense, the process of tourism development is the course which the tourists gaze at something in particular time and space fields. In this In this special area of space-time, the construction of the gaze of social life and everyday things are different, unusual things, through observation and analysis of these abnormal things, we can think better in all aspects of daily social life, including why the local people want to develop tourism.Generally speaking, in China, the traditional modal of national tourism development is Government-led and business participation, or business-led and the Government and community participation. Whatever, people are more concerned about the economic benefits of tourism development while ignoring the cultural development of minorities, so they ignore the fact:ethnic minority residents are the really owners and inheritors of their culture rather than "the outsiders"---tourism developments.Through the studies of the tourism development of Nan Village, we can see that anthropology advocated a bottom-up community participation in tourism development, and in the development we should pay close attention the voice of local community residents, so this kind of national tourism development, can not only promote local community economic development, but also help minority communities protect the traditional cultural, and then in order to achieve sustainable development of tourism. It can be said community-based cultural consciousness-style tourism development model of Nan Village provides a good case for the development of Ethnic Tourism in China, and act as reference.
