A Study On The Application Of Cultural Symbols Of Ethnic Minorities In The Context Of Tourism Development

Cassirer believes that human beings are symbolic animals,and all human cultural phenomena and spiritual activities are to express human experience through the use of symbols,human cultures are made in various symbolic ways.Tourism is essentially a cultural activity,but also a symbolic process,is the process of interpretation and cognition of symbols in the process of tourism.As the "first county of Miao nationality in the world",Taijiang County in Guizhou Province has a long history and rich culture,from the glittering silver Miao costumes to the well-functioning Miao architecture,from the Miao gorgeous embroidery,to the moving songs and dances,as well as a variety of national crafts,culture and art,all reflect the characteristics of the Miao cultural symbols.With the theme of "the use of cultural symbols of ethnic minorities in the context of tourism development",with the theme of "the use of cultural symbols of ethnic minorities in the context of tourism development",this paper investigates the folk activities of the Miao nationality in Taijiang-" Dragon dance and spray fireworks" by means of literature study,interview and observation,and probes into the present situation of the application of "Dragon dance and spray fireworks" as a cultural symbol of the Miao nationality in the tourism development of Taijiang.The article is divided into five parts.In the preface,the research background,research significance,research status,relevant literature,research methods and ideas are explained.The second part describes the basic situation of Taijiang county.Aiming at the different cultural symbols of Miao Nationality in Taijiang County,the characteristics and connotations of their cultural symbols are analyzed.The third part,on the basis of a large number of field investigations,interprets the important cultural symbols of Taijiang Miao culture from three aspects:historical situation,activity flow and performance process,and analyzes the constituent elements and cultural connotation of "Dragon dance and spray fireworks".In the fourth part,the author analyzes the current situation of the application of "Dragon dance and spray fireworks" as a cultural symbol in tourism development,and analyzes the shortcomings and reasons of the application of "Dragon dance and spray fireworks" in tourism development.In the last part,combining with the reality of Taijiang County,the author considers the deep application of Taijiang Miao cultural symbols in tourism development,in order to provide reference for the tourism development of Taijiang County.
