Capital is the epitome of national histories. The moving of the capital is also a strong reflection of significant changes in a national historical background, social environment, political life, development strategy and so on.The capital moving will help us understand the rise and fall of the country profoundly. The thesis systematically discussed the processes and routes of the capital moving of the Han State. And this paper had some analyses and discussions on its backgrounds, times, influences and significances of the capital moving in depth. The paper made a serious examination on the historical controversial issues about whether the Han State moved the capital to Yiyang,Yangdi or not,and when moved to Yiyang,Yangdi.Based on Archaeological materials and the Han State's development strategy,a conclusion could be drawn that the Han State moved the capital to Yiyang,Yangdi,Xinzheng in turn after Han,Zhao and Wei carved up the Jin State,In relation to the confusions and contradictions on the capital moving of the Han State in historical documents, combining with the international situation at that time and the Han State's development strategy,we could give a new interpretation on the confusions of literatures:when the Han State moved the capital to Yiyang and Yangdi,Pingyang was also used as a political center. In other words, while maintaining the capital's status of Pingyang, the Han State moved the capital to Yiyang and Yangdi, in order to serve the wars of conquering the Zheng State.Yiyang and Yangdi were the temporary capitals of the military, as auxiliary capitals at wartime. In addition, this thesis made a comparative study on Yi Yang,Yangdi and Xinzheng. These three big capitals had the significant similarities, such as the selected location, the building of the palace and palace city as well as the defense facilities and systems, the planning of mausoleum areas and so forth. At the same time, these capitals also showed many differences under the influence of different historical conditions, for instance the nature of capital, inner and outer city walls layout, breaking Zheng FengShui, etc.Besides, the paper also analysed the causes of these similarities and differences deeply.Particularly importantly, involving inner and outer city walls layout, the paper put forward a new view:Xinzheng Han City had the primitive pattern of "three-city system".It also analysed the historical roles of moving the capital to the Central Plains. The moving helped the Han State win the advantage of development, but also had a negative impact, making the Han State lie among its powerful neighbors, and bringing the hidden trouble of the extinction of the state firstly. Finally, we summed up the characteristics of the capital moving of the Han State: initiative and enterprise, flexible and strategic, typical and representative. The Han State had its own unique ideas in the establishment of the capitals positioning on local conditions, innovating and reinforcing defenses.
