Research Of Vocabulary In Magic Satires

The Magic Satire is a type of fiction criticiriy the present in magic form.It was created by the fictionists in Ming and Qing Dynasties who had been influenced by mythical novels. The representative works include the following:Chapter Ten Volume Four in Recordings of Zhanlgui by Liu Zhang in the first years of Qing Dynasty; Chapter Sixteen,Volume Eight in Recordings of Zhong kui's Beating ahosts in Tang by Yunzhongdaoren of Qing;Chapter Ten in Hedian by zhang Nan zhuang in the Qian long-Guangxce periods of Qing;Chapter Sixteen,Volume Four in As the Saying Goes by Lucpodaoren in the mireth year of Jiaqing Period of Qing. These works obtain three aspests in common:First,in length they are all nouvelles; second, in language they're all written in common sayings; third,in content, they all talk about human by talking about ghosts.Among the above, as for the usage of language, the four books have given these satires as a kind of humorous atmosphere by phenty of proverbs, idioms, two-pact allegorical sayings and locutions, esp.by the flexible use of vocabulary in the fictions.The article studies the vocabulary of magic satires, ie, the applied vocabulary including localism and common sayings,mainly examples.The study of magic satires has made some achievements, covening various aspects, from the study of vocabulary, analysis of ideology and content, analysis of culture,to longitudinal a fraverse comparison, ect.But generally the amount is cimited, the understanding of some cases aren't peretrating enough, the study in some aspects is still deficient. At present, the comparing study of these novels haven't totally begun,and there isn't enough realiration of its standing in the history of novals. Moreover, the inner comparison of this kind of fictions is limited in the perceptual situation, which isn't deep enough. The article makes inner comparisons between these satires that criticize the situation at that time, in the aspect of artistic expression and the main points in vocabulary to have a glingose of their unique artistic charm. By multidirectionaly comparing vocabulary,and understanding from perceptually to rationally the articale clearifres the status of magic satires in the history of fictions and makes the readers better understand the significance of combination.The article includes 7 parts:Chapter 1,Preface, includes raising the problem, the generality of Chinese vocabulary,reasing magic satires, reprensentative works of magic satires the givesent situation of the study of them and the significance content and of this article.Chaper 2 is about the vocabulary type of magic satires including proverbs,two-part allegorical sayings,locutions and idioms. Every type has been basically introduced and a variety of examples are applied to analyise the situation and characteristics of these types in magic satires.Chapter 3. is about the type of usage of vocabulary in magic satires including Return to Origins; Interpretation out of Context; Pun; Sinuclation; Oxymoron; Inlay.6 figures of speech commonly seen in magic satirves. Every tyre 3 basically introdnced along with large mumbers of example and the analysis conclusion of them, which come up with some features of the usage of vocabulary in magic satires.Chapter 4. focuses on the functions of vocabulary in magic satires. By the analysis of usage of vocabulary, the article digs into the rhetoric functions though the usage, giving out four points:To Make Expressions More Vivid; To Make Expressions More Philosophical; To Make Expressions More Humorous; To Make Expressions More Rhythnic.Chapter 5.Appendix,It concludes some of the secondary figures of speech,gives examples and points out the disadventages in these novels,wishing to improve them if there's a chance.Finaly, the Reference Documentation reorgainsed the vocabulary in the four magic satires,summarires them according to the typed in magic satires,for the study in the future.
