Fredrickson's positive emotions theory of expansion and construction pointed out that positive emotions have cognitive function, this theory consider that the positive emotions expansion and construction can help indibidual build lasting personal development resources via expanding and constructing individual acts of real-time resources,and these development resources promote individuals fully play to their initiative to produce a variety of thinking and behavior, in particular, can produce some creative and innovative thinking and behavior. The study of Isen,etc. found thatIndividual showed higher creativity, more efficient in solving problems and more comprehensive in decision-making in a positive mood than neutral state. The main purpose of this study is to verify and enrich the theory of Fredrickson through the ralated research of positive emotions and innovative operation of junior high school students.With emotion, sex 3×2 two factors completely randomized experimental design, using video technology were evoked by test induced positive emotions, neutral emotions and negative emotions to study three different emotions on the mental operations of innovation. Experiments to explore positive emotions, neutral emotions and negative emotions and thought the relevance of the convergence process, draw some specific conclusions:(1)The results of performance were better in positive emotional state than in neutral and negative emotional state. positive emotions improved the innovative thinking divergent processing ability.(2) Gender had the significant impact on thinking divergent processing. Female's performance was better than male's in three emotional conditions.The differences were not significant between negtive and neutral emotional conditions.There was an interaction of emotion and gender. The results of dvergent processing changed with the diversification of gender in neutral emotional condition. Male's performance was better than female's in neutral emotional condition. Female's performance was better than male's in positive emotional condition.(3) There were not significant differences of the results between positive emotional state and neutral emotional state. Sentiment types had no significant influences to convergence processing capacity of innovative thinking. Convergence processing capacity was no significant differences in gender. (4) The main effect of gender of convergence processing was significant under the conditional of different emotions. Male's performance was better than female's in positive emotional condition. Female's performance was better than male's in neutral and negtive emotional condition.
