The scope of research project is concentrated in the gannan of Jiangxi province, and the research will focus on the formation and cultural heritage of "The Single Sleeve", which is one of the three hakka dancing performance skills. This thesis will do a comprehensively and practical field research from various aspects such as history, politics, economy and culture.Gannan hakka dance, gestated from the hakka culture, is the masterpieces of artistic treasures. And "The Single Sleeve" is one of the unique performance skills in gannan hakka dance. In the process of forming and development, it absorbs extensively the elite of all kinds of folk dances, folk lighted and folk drama, whether from the local or the overseas spread to gannan hakka regions, and form the distinctive performance skills individual hakka folk and modern charm. Gannan hakka dance has a profound cultural connotation, and is an important form of folk dances of Han nationality. It is well known that action morphological characteristic is one of the most important reflecting forms of the dance, and the unique form isthebestexpression of that style. Having a comprehensive understanding of the movement form, style, "backbone action", culture of"The Single Sleeve", it's not only very important to the culture heritance of"The Single Sleeve", but also to the development of gannan hakka dance. In order to inherit and develop the survived gannan hakka dance, this article will have a brief account of the gannan hakka dance from the kind and three characteristic the two aspects; and through to the research of the relationship of the follow six aspects: the movement form of gannan hakka dance, the distinctive charm of gannan hakka dance, the expression of the characters feelings, the influence gong accompaniment to"The Single Sleeve", the similarity and differences between"The Single Sleeve"and"The Double Sleeves", the relationship of"The Single Sleeve","Runt Step"and"Fan Flowers", intends to explore the religious and cultural connotative that implies in the exceptional performance form.Based in more stringent field work, through history and investigation of concrete action form, this paper objectively describes and analyzes the unique form, characteristic and culture of "The Single Sleeve", which is one of the three unique hakka dance skills. This thesis strives to research the perfect picture of the cultural heritage development of "The Single Sleeve" accurately and objectively.This paper is discussed from macroscopic to microcosmic, then back to macroscopic within an"overview-points description-overview"structural framework. When describing this topic, the author sometimes adds some discussion. To a certain degree, the generation of one performance form is inevitable associated with the social and living environment. In order to have a better research about the formation and cultural heritage of "The Single Sleeve", this paper begins with the summarization of the gannan hakka dance, and then draws out the three unique skills of gannan hakka dance as the prelude of this paper. The first chapter of the paper mainly analyzes the formation of "The Single Sleeve" horizontally and vertically.
