Research On Chu Sleeve Dance And Its Rhythm

The Chinese culture is broad and profound and the Chu culture is one of the most important. From Shang and Zhou Dynasties, the Chu culture become from weak to strong and then change from prosperity to decline. They have important influence on Chinese culture by all different times. The Chinese dance culture is also very profound, in which the Chu dance is one of the beautiful type of dance that get the praise like ‘skillful in dancing with long sleeves’. When and on what background does the Chu culture come into being? What are the features of the Chu suit long sleeve formation? And what are the artistic character, shape characteristic and body movement of the Chu dance? They will be discussed in this paper.
