As a pioneer of pop culture movement in the United States, Andy Warhol was not only famous for his far-reaching artistic products but also his legendary pop-cultured life, because his life and his works fully manifested the tenet of pop culture, i.e., Art must reflect our daily life or our daily life must be re-presented in art. This paper focuses on duplication, the basic feature of Andy Warhol as an artist, covering the underlying reason governing the choice of duplication, skills and the representation glamour so as to solve several relevant artistic questions, i.e., what is art, how to realize art, and why to be artistic. First of all, the lifestyle and social background of Warhol has been depicted to discuss Warhol's philosophy and theory, followed by the discussion of Warhol's individual feature, viz., mechanic duplication and total and un-modified recording of daily life to shed some light on current learners'skills, pointing out the importance of living cadence as well as painting skills. The influence of Warhol on contemporary Chinese oil-painting has also been discussed and explicated.
