Korean-Chinese Language Second Person Deixis Contrast

Deixis is a important pragmatic issue, person deixis is one of its branch. the person deixis is a salutation when the talkers convey information using words. Among them, the second person deixis can relatively directly express the seniority,relation and social status between the talkers. The talkers can use to different second person-deixis to express themselves in the communication process, people chossing the person deixis can paly a important role to achieve pragmatic airm. There is a huge the person deixis system, so if we want to discuss the person deixis we must refer to the deixis and nominatum. the person deixis in Korean and Chinese has a complex relation at those two aspect. This paper mainly makes a comparison about the person deixis in Korean and Chinese with the methods of pragmatic and cognitive linguistics, e.g view, empathize, subjectivity and so on.The thesis is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction, including research purpose an-d meaning, research contents, corpora source, methods and previous research situation a-nd so on.The second part makes a comparison about the conventional usage of pers-on deixis in Korean and Chinese from the pragmatic, semantics, cognize persp-ective. Focusing on the diversity and correspondence when the second person d-eixis is used. At the same time we also contrast noun form, combination, zer-o form when they are used to deixis the second person. The second person d-eixis has some correspondence and diversity at inferiority and distance because of different cultural type.The third part makes a comparison about the unconventionality usage of p-erson deixis in Korean and Chinese from the person deixis perspective.inclu-ding metaphor and variation form of expression. We study the change of pers-on, singularo, and the co-variation of them in the metaphor. At the same time we also study the extensive, generic, discourse markers usage with the methods of pragmatic linguistics, e.g view, empathize, subjectivity and so on. Besides t-his paper also make a comparison with normal deviation and minus deviation i-n a particular context.The fourth part study the corresponding situation in Chinese and constraint of the second person deixis in Korean,From the perspective of word dorder,honorifi- c form and declensions,expressing the imperative meaning.The last part is the ummeries, it concludes the major idea of the thesis, p o-ints out the limitations and problems that need further inv-estigation.
