People always want to live in a happy life, but through the years the real life is not just like what we hope. And people began to pursue happiness and avoid evil, they wish to reach their aspiration by means of outer power. Thus, the rich culture of animals faith came into being. Animals' faith contains auspicious and prosperous meaning. Therefore, whether men of rank or the civilian has begun to have their own beliefs and taken these animals as the mascot.Mascot is an important part in the culture of animals' faith, it is an external embodiment of.a lucky idea. It deeply embodies the ideal of life, consciousness, aesthetic delight and the pursuit of happiness. Mascot has the feature of folklore. Fables, legends and story are the carrier of the ideal of life and psychological consciousness and beauty appreciation. Therefore, in terms of comparing folk literature between Chinese and Korean, we work out the symbols of different cultures and discuss these subjects in this paper. Folklore has been focused on the research on animals' belief. Auspicious designs, classification of the mascot, its style, and art design etc have been studied characteristically, but relatively speaking, the story on animals' faith lacks deep study.Making a comprehensive survey on fables of animals' faith between Chinese and Korean, some research results, with respect to the animals' images and cultural symbols, have founded. However, these.researches lack comparative consciousness concerned fables and cultural symbols. And the research was primarily focused on aspects of mythology, not legend or folklore field.Animals' belief not only expresses people's good wishes to pursuit happiness, but brings luckiness and good fortune to people's lives. This article comparatively analyzes cultural symbolism of animal's belief relating to dragon, snake and tiger.This paper is divided into four sections. The first chapter of preface focuses on status quo, research objects & method, and purpose & significance. The second chapter illustrates fables on dragon, snake, and tiger between Chinese and Korean. This chapter is divided into three subsections, gratitude and worship as the main account type, states the fairy story of dragon, snake, and tiger between Chinese and Korean. Then, according to concrete analysis of these stories, reveals the profound moral meaning in the cultural infiltration of animals' belief between Chinese and Korean. The third chapter emphasizes on the comparative analysis of cultural symbolic significance concerned about Chinese and Korean animals' fables. It shows that animals' belief which described in Chinese and Korean fairy stories directly impacts on people's belief. Because China and Korea belong to the same Asian cultural circle, not only two countries'belief concept and meaning but the cultural significance is near. And fable in China and Korea directly expresses two nations' beliefs and culture. These researches will provide some reference. Chapter four is conclusion.In ancient Chinese and Korean people's lives, embodiment of animals' belief is ubiquitous. These beliefs also permeate in two countries' fairy stories. Animals' belief stories are not only a story, but a fable. It reflects coexistence between people and nature. These beliefs are from national culture, in turn, propel the nation's culture forward.
