With the economic and culture development of china, more and more people begin to study Chinese, especially in Southeast Asia.During the Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, there are many problems that is about the Myanmar Learner's acquisition of stops and affricates of Standard Chinese. At present, the experimental phonetic study on the Myanmar students' acquisition of stops and affricates is very short in the academic circles. This paper will try to use the empirical research method to analysis the acquisition of Myanmar learners in terms of the stops and affricates.This article comprises four parts:The first part is "foreword", which is explaining the reasons why I choose this project, and introduced the related research achievements,the research conten,the study method and the significance of this project.The second part is in terms of the experimental data, and based on the Myanmar students' acquisition of stops and affricates when they pronounced the one-syllable of Standard Chinese. It is analyzed the acoustic examples such as the voice onset time, aspiration length, vowel duration and so on. At the same time, I made a comparative study of it between the Myanmar and local Chinese learners, which can let me hold much more information about the learners on this problem.The third part is in terms of the experimental data, and based on the Myanmar students' acquisition of stops and affricates when they pronounced the two-syllables of Standard Chinese. It is analyzed the acoustic examples such as the voice onset time, aspiration length, vowel duration and so on. Through the comparative study of it between the Myanmar learners and Chinese learners, it is much more convenient to get the information about the pronunciation overview and bias case of bi-syllable Mandarin.The fourth section is the bias case analysis and corresponding Suggestions. Through the result of the second and the third part of the this article, and contrasting the pronunciation characteristics between Chinese and Myanmar language, It is try to from the place of articulation and the manner of articulation to analysis the bias case of Myanmar learners' acquisition of the affricates of Mandarin.The last part summarized the whole thesis, and points out its short comings.
