There are wide range and different characteristics of consonants, and it is the basic category of phonetic units. In recent years, there are little experimental studies on Japanese students learning of Stops and Affricates. This paper mainly analyzes the acoustic features of blocking Stops and Affricates in consonants, and the experimental analysis method was used to study the acquisition of the Japanese students' acquisition of Stops and Affricates, then obtain a more comprehensive understanding about the acquisition of Stops and Affricates of Japanese students. This thesis includes seven chapters. The first chapter is the introduction, which introduces the development of experimental phonetics, the background of experimental analysis about Stops and Affricates, the research content, the research purposes, and the research methods of this paper and so on.The chapter two analyze the differences between Chinese and Japanese's Stops and Affricates, and different characteristics of Chinese consonants and Japanese consonants are obtained, which mainly for the analysis and development of the following chapters. The chapter three mainly investigate the acoustic analysis of pronunciation experiment in the point of syllable. It is concluded that subtle effects of different tones on VOT;The vowel duration becomes longer with the the number of vowel phonemes increase, but there are still difference; The duration of the consonant segment accounts for the entire length of the syllable is also based on the different tone, vowel phonemes var, which are all interrelated. The fourth chapter mainly explore the acoustic analysis of pronunciation experiment from the perspective of disyllable. In this paper, the patterns of Stops acoustics and Affricates' duration are discussed, and taking the patterns of Stops acoustics and Affricates' duration as reference,it is concluded that the Japanese students have better control of Stops than the Affricatest, whilethe problem of aspirated or unaspirated still exists. The chapter five obtain that the biased errors made by Japanese students when they learning Chinese mandarin Stops and Affricates, and summarizes the biased errors. And the corresponding teaching strategies according to the biased errors of foreign students are made. The chapter six summarizes the contents of the article.
