With the emergence of positive psychology study, people are interested on great positive force of human being. It claims that from the people's the potentialand constructive energy, at a positive perspective to explain the psychological phenomenon, to explore the improvement of mental health, to promote the factors of happy life. The purpose of this study was to develop an effective group programs to promote positive psychological development of junior students.This study selected one key middle school and one middle school of Guangfeng county of Shangrao City, and one middle school of Yushan County as subjects. A total of 256 questionnaires distributed, 211 valid questionnaires were received. The study research the relationship among the Optimism, social support and coping style ,and selected the 30 positive students with low levels to do the counseling intervention. The intervention used the measurement of comparing the experimental group and control group .The subjects were randomly divided into experimental and control groups in two groups, each group of 15 people. The experimental group was accepted intervention, while the control group wasn't given any intervention. The experimental group and control group scores were given significant differences anlysis, and test the effect of group counseling.Conclusions:1. Optimism and social support, subjective support and utilization of support were positively correlated (p <0.01); positive factors and coping style of problem solving and help were positively correlated (p <0.05), and self-blame (p <0.01) and avoidance (p <0.05)were negative correlation .2. The group counseling program effectively improve the psychological level of optimism junior high school students.
