He Shaoji is a very important figure in the Song Poetry campaign, who has got high achievement in calligraphy. However, his fame in poem is shadowed by that in calligraphy. Based on the poem-self, this thesis has done comprehensive research in contents and the forms of He Shaoji's poetry, in order to learn more the not hackneyed theory of He Shaoji and his poetry.The first chapter discusses the connotation of the not hackneyed theory and its origin. The not hackneyed theory which was proposed by He Shaoji , the representative of the Song Poetry faction, is, as it were, the core theory of the Song Poetry faction. This theory what He Shaoji said is not merely refer that we should have our own personalities as a person, but also refer that writing poetries should be original. The most frequently advocated buy He Shaoji is that the character of poetries should be combined with the personality, then both reflected the not hackneyed theory. Concerning the origin of He Shaoji's poetics, He Shaoji studied the poetry style from Su Shi and Huang Tingjian. He always advocated that poetry should be not common. The poems of He Shaoji were fully representing the characters of this theory.The second chapter elaborated He Shaoji's poetry's vulgar form the content of his poetry. In the content of He Shaoji's poems, its theme is very varied. No matter the poems are about landscape, painting, or expressing feels, recording the poets'elegant activities. His poems are both profoundly embodied his uncommon literati's life and mind.The third chapter reflected its not common from the forms of his poetry. In the forms of He Shaoji's poems, he always used various new analogies to create vivid images. Besides, his poems are full of romanticism and peculiar imagination. His poetic language is very particular about change and innovation. As the representative of the Song Poetry campaign, many poems of He Shaoji reflect the characteristics of the Song poetry, such as making comments, discussing learning, and writing poems in the form of prose.
