This paper mainly studies the similarity and diversity of "basis" category words in Chinese and Korean. The "basis" category words refers to basis preposition"按照","依照","根据","依据"and prepositional phrases which comprises by these words. While the "basis" category words in Korean refers to those word groups corresponding to prepositions in Chinese "~(?) (?)","~(?) (?)","~(?) (?)","~(?) (?)" and so on. In this paper, we make a comparative analysis about "basis" category words in Chinese and Korean based on the previous studies of "basis" category words in Chinese and Korean. The thesis is divided into four parts:Chapter One is introduction, including research purpose and significance, research methods and contents, corpora source, previous research situation and so on.Chapter Two is the semantic contrast of "basis" category words in Chinese and Korean. In this chapter, we explain components of "basis" category words by using some examples. We make a comparative analysis about semantic composition and interior semantic component to find their similarities and differences in their language respectively and the semantic equivalent in Chinese and Korea.Chapter Three is the syntax contrast of "basis" category words in Chinese and Korean. This chapter basically analyses "basis" category words, which are used as adverbial modifier, attribute, predicate, and syntactic function of "basis" category words, to find out the corresponding and non-corresponding phenomena and induces the similarities and differences on syntactic function in Chinese and Korea.Chapter Four is pragmatic function comparison of "basis" category words in Chinese and Korean. This chapter basically analyses the pragmatic function of "basis" category words in Chinese and Korean, that is, topic marker function, textual function, presence and absence function. Making a pragmatic function comparison of "basis" category words in Chinese and Korean, this chapter induces their similarities and differences on pragmatic function in Chinese and Korean.The last part is conclusion. It concludes the results of this thesis and points out the deficiency of the thesis.
