Ba and Chu, which close geographically and exchange frequently, are two important kingdoms in southern China during the Eastern Zhou Period. With the shift in forces between the two kingdoms, Ba kingdoms gradually retreated into the Three Gorges region, while Chu kingdom expanded towards west continuously to the Three Gorges region. In conflicts and exchanges between the two kingdoms people, Ba culture and Chu cultural exchanged and integrated increasingly widespread, close and deep. Burial is one of important ancient culture as a carrier, which reflected the focus on all aspects of society, and a true portrayal of history culture on the earth. With the construction of Three Gorges Project, archeologists carried out several large-scale survey and excavation on Ba and Chu mixed people in Three Gorges region, and found that the phenomenon of two cultural factors coexistence was very common. It provides a new and more reliable physical evidence for us to understand Ba and Chu culture exchanges. This paper analyzes Ba and Chu people tombs uncovered, especially in recent years on Three Gorges area, researches further cultural exchanges between Ba and Chu people on Three Gorges area in the Eastern Zhou period, combined with historical documents and based on previous studies.
