On The Thought Of HuShi' Individualism

Hu Shi advocated "the sound individualism", aiming to balance the relation between the individual and the society, which has an illuminating significance on how to view and correctly solve the conflicting interests of individuals and groups .Based on the previous studies,This paper is going to reveal the cause , the connotation and the manifestation on female problem,education and politics of Hu Shi'individualism.The first chapter presents the reason,the significance and the research review of the topic selection. The second chapter mainly concerns the cause for the consept of "the sound individualism". The thought about individuals and groups in Chana'historty as well as the western liberal ideology influenced the formation of "the sound individualism". The third chapter focuses on the connotation of "the sound individualism"from three aspects:Criticising of traditional individualism;clarifying and amending of individualism ; Putting forward the immortal theory of society.Chapter 4 discusses the manifestation of Hu Shi'individualism . Including promoting the philosophy beyond wife and mother on women issue ,calling for the emancipation of women to promote social development ; opposing the doctrines of education, and developing the creative ideas in education; striving for and protecting citizens' rights and freedom , breaking the limitation of raditional ideas on the spirit of freedom .Last chapter is about Hu Shi'individualism ideology and inspiration.Hu Shi'individualism calls for a completely free from traditional old culture, each person acts as an independent equal person, which composes vibrant interpersonal relationship and promotes social progress. Hu Shi'individualism can help to reasonably settle the conflicts of individuals and groups , promote social armonious ,which provides us valuabe experience and useful enlightenment.
