The development of the Song Dynasty was the golden age of landscape painting. Landscape painter of this period also presented many outstanding artist and heroines, and also sent the era. These painters inherited and developed the fine traditions of landscape painters in Sui Tang and Wudai Dynasty, and the Chinese landscape painting was put into an unprecedented height, forming a more complete landscape painting techniques and more profound aesthetic pursuit. Formed landscape painting show painting techniques and subject matter expertise theoretical performance of the three co-develop and reach maturity in the situation in the Song Dynasty. Song Dynasty landscape painting landscaping heavy creature, rationality, aesthetic features gradually shift from the political and religious humanism pursuit.FanKuan as a representative of Landscape Painting in landscape painting the North during this period, his works"The painting of travelling XiShan"was on behalf of his highest artistic achievements. Meanwhile, Fan Kuan as a master of landscape painting, he wrote a brilliant page in Chinese Art History. Fan Kuan Landscape of discussion and research aimed at its essence, to its dregs, past serve the present, to better serve the contemporary artistic creation and spiritual civilization. There are many researches of Fan Kuan`s landscape painting ,the Southern Song and Yuan, Ming Fan Kuan generations of research was mainly on his masterpiece,"The painting of travelling XiShan"studied focusing on wide range of artistic esteem extremely strong force . This paper combines the wide range of Landscape Painting in the background and takes Fan Kuan`s masterpiece as example, analyzes the art of landscape features from the composition, texture strokes and the works of three aspects , sums up the Fan Kuan `s Landscape Painting theoretical basis and the landscape paintings of the Song Dynasty some knowledge. Fan Kuan Landscape Studies is committed to the rigorous spirit of modern man is worthy of our study and appreciate a wide range of works from which we can always feel the calm, elegant, simple yet majestic strains of the momentum.Jia You Fu said: Li-fa, as the ancients did not bully, charm is not abandoned by the ancients, not contrary to the national spirit, based on the contemporary world quot; This is one of my motto. Chinese landscape has been the language of the ancients to the limit. It is not easy for modern man to break and innovate ancient landscape .
