Sememe Now Class Compound Verb Study

During the evolution of Chinese vocabulary, there is a particular phenonemon named presentation of the sememe.Generally speaking,this phenonemon is that in the course of Chinese vocabulary disyllable,one sememe from the original single syllable extemalizes,then becomes a new morpheme and combines with the original single syllable,thus creat a new disyllabic word.Because the new disullabic word which due to presentation of the sememe,this article named them "compound words featuring presentation of the sememe".Therer are nouns,verbs and adjectives in these compound words.This article choose verbs to research because both in Chinese vocabulary system and in this kind of compound words,verbs have important function and numerous numbers.According to researching the feature of compound verbs in modern Chinese language,the diachronic evolvement and the. root of the occurrence,this article can provide a new perspective for the research of the general compound words system.The research method of this article is mainly enclosed based on Siku Quanshu electronic corpus as the source of ancient Chinese and Beijing University corpus as the the source of modern Chinese. As a result,this article carried out a comprehensive and systemantic study from synchronic and diachronic perspectives of compound verbs featuring presentation of the sememe,This article consisted of five chapters:The introduction introduce the object and range of research,the general situation of related research,and the collection of linguistic data and the method of research.The first chapter is the feature and analysis of compound verbs featuring presentation of the sememe.It mainly analyzes the features of these compound verbs in modern Chinese language and does an integrated research from the perspective of semanteme,grammar and pragmatics.The second chapter presents the research on evolvement of compound verbs.In this part,the author divided the compound verbs into four categories and respectively choose some typical examples in order to analyze completely the course and the rule of the evolvement which reflected by every kind of compound verbs.The third chapter analyze the root of compound verbs' occurrence mainly from the perspective of phonetics,semanteme and pragmatics.The analysis is not only studying the shared cause of all the compound verbs,but also studying the particular cause of every kind of compound verbs.The ending points out "presentation of the sememe" is a special phenomenon,finds the rule of the occurrence, evolvement and strong vivid expression of compound verbs, and shows the characteristics and wide application of the presented sememe method of creating new words.Finally,this article aslo pointed out limitation and the future research expectation.
