A Study Of Rizhao Dialect

With the knowledges of geographical dialectology, social linguistics and historical comparative linguistics, the writer did a lot of fieldwork and based on the synchronic description and diachronic comparison, the writer collected statistics, classified and analysed the research materials in order to make a comparatively comprehensive description of Rizhao dialect and analyse its evolution regularity.In this thesis the writer will do the research on Rizhao dialect from five aspects.First, the introduction will mainly focus on the research status, the research emphasis and value as well as the research thinking and method. Secondly, the writer will briefly introduce both the location, the population structure, the historical evolution of the city of Rizhao and the informant, offering the background knowledge for better understanding the ensuing chapters.On this basis, we explored phonetic system and grammatical system of Rizhao dialect. First the writer will study the survey dialects, induce the phonetic system and make comparison of the similarities and differences among the dialects of Rizhao districts. Then according to the vast language facts, the writer will concentrate on the pronunciation variations to reveal the variation regularity. The writer will also study the differences between Rizhao dialect and putonghua synchronically, especially make some social investigations on the jiantuanyin variation phenomenon with the features of Rizhao dialect to discover the variation regularity.The grammatical system includes lexical part and syntactic part. For the lexical part, the writer will study some special adverbs with some features of Rizhao dialect whose using methods are different from those in putonghua. The syntactic part will focus on the jiao-sentence, the structure of"动词+宾语+开+了"whose using methods are all different from those in putonghua, and the special comparative sentences in Rizhao dialect. Besides, the writer will study their special usage and evolution track.As for the conclusion, the features of Rizhao dialect will be summarized especially those on phonetics and grammar, appealing to more attention and study on Rizhao dialect.
