In the teaching Chinese as a foreign language (TCFL), the construct of teaching materials is essential and is fundamental of teaching. It is an important medium that teachers impart knowledge to students and cultivate the ability of students. The quality of teaching material will be a direct impact on students' initiative and to the quality of teaching. Oral lessons are a main course of TCFL. The quality of the primary oral textbook is related to students' Chinese learning interest directly to some extent.Vocabulary is the materials that make up the language building and occupies an important position in language teaching. The level of words written is an important criterion to measure the quality of textbook writing and it is also related to the teaching quality. Faced with the situation of vocabulary teaching of TCFL, many experts have found a lot of problems. For instance, there are a large number of vocabularies in teaching materials, and the rate of repetition is low. These problems lead heavy burden to the students. The primary Chinese oral language and The development of Chinese are the new two sets of teaching materials of TCFL. Their own advantages and disadvantages in vocabulary and reiteration are worth thinking about especially. But we haven't found comparative study about the vocabulary and reiteration in the two sets of materials by now.Therefore, we adopt the method of statistics and contrast, to analyze and describe vocabulary and reiteration in the two sets of materials, research the overall situation of reiteration, the case of especial reiteration and the level of word times, summarize the achievements and shortage in vocabulary number and reiteration, at the same time, offer proposal to the primary Chinese oral language textbooks about vocabulary number and reiteration written. We hope to provide reference to the future textbooks compilation about vocabulary.
