As a bridge between two countries, translation has a very important role of communication. In many countries, there are long histories of translation research which many scholars are dedicated to. They explored it from different aspects, just like Applied linguistics, Evolutionary linguistics, Stylistics, Sociolinguistics, Evolutionary linguistics and have achieved fruitful results.Firstly, this thesis is trying to explains the concept of literary style on the basis of Chinese, Westen and Japanese literary style theory. The work's literary style has a closely relationship with language markers. In the other word, translation is the only way to reproduce the literary style of the original, which we can get important information of the work's literary style from the language markers. Then the thesis try to approach the subject of reproduce the style of original by the comparison of seven versions of this thesis.Secondly, this thesis is based on Liu miqing's style theory and attempt to explore the stylistic transference of seven Chinese versions of "the Izu Dancer" writtern by Kawabata Yasunari. Liu's stylistic translation theory focuses firstly on the reoganization of the source text style and the adaptability of the target text which is based on the analysis of the source text style and it is quite worthwhile for the author to explore the style translation with Liu's style theory and perceive how translators deal with language features and culture-specific words and whether they succeed in reproducing the style of this story.Finally, based on the analysis of the translations, what is the style of the original, should it to maintain the original style or featured the translation by the translator's own style. While comparing the original to the seven versions translations of "The Izu Dancer", the thesis tried to point out these important factors while affect the reproduction of literary style.
