An Exploration Into The Social Life Of Prehistoric Lopnur

Lopnur is the name of a lake which is located in the northeast of Tarim basin, once a vast lake in ancient times. The topography of this basin is that the west part is a highland and the east part is a lowlands, lopnur is the biggest intersect of waters of the Tarim basin. The west and north bank of the lake is a delta which is formed by the alluvial of Tarim river and kongque river. At the Han and Jin dynasty and before the time, there are a lot of rivers in length and breadth, which was a vast oasis; now this place had became a desert, where without human race. Academic circles was used to name this place an ancient loulan area, for once this place was a sphere of influence of ancient loulan nation at Han dynasty.The investigation study of lopnur area had begun in the end of 19th century. At the beginning of 20th century, the mysterious ancient culture of lopnur area had shacked all the scientific circles around the world. The investigation about the historical culture and ecological environment of this place was became the center of public attention. After the liberation, the areas around the lopnur setting off all kinds of scientific survey, excavation and study; a lot of important discovery and research achievement made this area a center of study in which working at on the history, archaeology, ecological changes and the silk road of central Asia. In the end of last century, with the discovery of kongque tumulus, especially the discovery of a small lake cemetery draws the attention of academic circles, had appraised that the one among the ten large archaeological discovery. The ancient culture of lopnur delta once again draws the attention of academic circles; from then on there was accumulated a lot of research sources which was related to all kinds of domain of lopnur data; especially from this year on, with the improve and change of historical understanding of people, made the world recognize the unique cultural face and historical development.A branch of knowledge and the research about lopnur delta was on the rise. This thesis collected a lot of material which take the prehistoric archaeology of lopnur as the center, which is on the basis of predecessors research, also used historical method, make an on-the-spot investigation about prehistoric resident, economic way, clothes and ornaments culture, primitive conviction of lopnur delta.
