In the analysis process of the German valance, we compare the Chinese grammar step by step, and find the similarities and the differences, which include the kind, the complements, the method and the process of the valance. In the valance theory of German the case was used, which talks about semantics. Because the modern Chinese is short of morphological change, it also needs the theory of case. In the chapter 3 we discus these four categories, and also use the theory of case give them corresponding names. According to the examples, three categories of verbs are exhibited: monovalent verbs, bivalent verbs and trivalent verbs. At the end of this thesis, our valance standard is compared with the traditional grammar, and two appendixes are located, one is a valance table of the verbs in the outline of the Graded Vocabulary for HSK, and the other is a list of errata for the part of speech of the verbs in the outline of the Graded Vocabulary for HSK.This thesis classifies the verbs in the outline of the Graded Vocabulary for HSK as the theory of valance.
