The Research Of The Undecomposable Similar Chinese Characters In The Syllabus Of The Chinese Characters Level

The paper surveys and analyzes the research results of similar Chinese characters of present. It summarizes the settling standards, characteristic, classification of similar Chinese characters in modern Chinese, as well as the methods of discriminating similar Chinese characters. Also found that, the systematic specific comparative studies to the similar Chinese characters are not many. This paper uses Mrs. Wang Ning's theory in Chinese characters formation to study the the undecomposable similar Chinese characters and then expands to single characters as parts of a compound characters. The paper makes a complete statistics of 2905 current Chinese characters on teaching Chinese as a foreign language,selects 255 undecomposable similar Chinese characters , concludes 381 groups of similar Chinese characters. According to different characters, it classifies them into several types, such as Strokes, T-shaped, Combinations of strokes and location of the strokes and sums up 123 groups undecomposable similar Chinese characters. And describes each word in terms of shape, sound and formation and configuration ability. Results can be better role in the similar Chinese characters teaching, so that students can use Chinese characters more standardly and overcome the text confusion and write typos phenomena. In addition, the findings are not only conducive to the standardization of Chinese characters, but also for computer processing and application of Chinese character information.
