The Banter On The Writing Of Wu Jian-ren

Well known as one of the four condemned novelist, Wu Jian-ren is a famous writer of late Qing dynasty .As the low-level literati, he is concerned about the survival and prosperity of the late Qing dynasty, mindful of moral reconstruction, coldly at the strange society. He deconstructs the relationship in his works skillfully, reflects the objective society flexibly. Meanwhile, as traditional intellectuals, "articles were irony and invective", he hopes his novels easy to read and adds morality to his works. He tries to use humorous way to achieve the purpose of teaching and exploring the way out of Chinese society .He expresses his social ideal of "restore the inherent old morality". Based on the content and structure of the novel, this paper will combine the thought and life background of the author to deeply interpret the internal logic of Wu Jian-ren's banter technique. Techniques are used to analyze from three aspects of the use of banter, satirical vision and style show, the mind of banter writing respectively, this paper also attempts to explore the impact on modern literature of this technique.
