Due to differences between Chinese and Western thinking, the two languages also differ from each other, and these differences are important factors that influence E-C translation. From the angle of the difference between Chinese and Western thinking, this thesis compares the English and Chinese thinking and their reflections on the two languages. With The Courage to Be Present as an example, the author attempts to tackle problems in translation and summarize some practical translation strategies.
