Chapter two talks about multi-definitions of translation and various kinds of thinking activities in translation. And at the same time, from the translation of thinking activities, abstract thinking, thinking-in-images and inspiration have been set forth. Chapter three puts forward the opinion that universal thinking is the basis for translation, including the reasons why universal thinking is the basis for translation, systematized translatolody, basic eharacter~tics of translation thinking, developing mechanisms of translation thinking, synthesis in the translation thinking mechanisms and summary. Chapter four is about the differences of thinking between two languages and translation methodology. As different nationalities with different languages, the Chinese and the English have a gap between them as to thinking models, thinking characteristics and thinking tendency, which are embodied in their languages. And the principles of solving the thinking differences in translation are usage and language intuition. Then flexible means is given to illustrate the diversified problems in rendering. The last chapter is to summarize what have been talked over and it is a real challenge for us to grasp the pith of thinking activity and to solve thinking difference in the translation practice.
