Then along with the development of the social, Baoqing Bamboo Carving faded out from ours eyes gradually and the carving skills almost lost.The perspective of this thesis is based on the product innovation, and then the historical background of Baoqing Bamboo Carving's birth has been introduced, the artistic value and art characters has been analyzed the same time, the dialectic relationship between form and theme also has been expatiated. At last the method of innovation has been brought forward which included form innovation and themes innovation. On the one hand, Material and Carving Innovation are the most important things for form innovation, which includes color's innovation of use, and the material's innovation of use, Carving Innovation means combining the reality with the excellent aspect of Jiading Bamboo Carving and Jinling Bamboo Carving to innovate in the aspect of carving skills.
