Research On Design Aesthetics In The Process Of SMEs' Product Technological Innovation

Chinese small and medium-sized enterprises, especially those in the product manufacturing industry, have got tremendous development. They have become the main force to promote the growth of the national economy, create employment opportunities and increase the foreign exchange earning. However, due to the lack of capital input in the spheres of technological innovation, the R & D strength of technological innovation is weak. It is difficult for SMEs to create their own competitive advantages only through technological innovation. In this paper, the advantages of the leading role design aesthetics plays in technological innovation of SMEs are analyzed. The practical applications of design aesthetics in the process of SMEs'technological innovation are discussed from different perspectives of design aesthetics. It is expected to help enterprises transform their innovative technology into readily marketable products through industrial design. The importance of the art character of products is emphasized on the basis of the realization of their practical value, in order to meet both physical and spiritual needs of the consumers and thus increase consumer satisfaction with products and enterprises. Meanwhile, from the point of view of technology aesthetics, the influence of design aesthetics on all aspects of SMEs'technological innovation is discussed. It helps to guide enterprises how to raise the added value of products in the fierce market competition, how to shape the brand image, how to enhance the comprehensive competitiveness, and how to promote the capability of independent innovation. Thus SMEs can achieve healthy and sustainable development.
