The Research On BiHuaLeiBuShou Of Chinese Characters

This paper makes a diachronic analysis on WuJingWenZi, LongKanShouJian, ZiHui, Kangxi Dictionary, Xinhua Dictionary, ChineseBig Dictionary, CiHai, theContemporaryChinese Dictionary and so on in order to find out the appearance, development and names of BiHuaLeiBuShou, finally gives my own research results, that is BiHuaLeiBuShou comes from ZhangCan's WuJingWenZi of Tang dynasty, and then changes with the development of Chinese characters. In modern Chinese dictionaries their types and quantities have been already tend to stable, but some names of them still haven't been fixed. I predict that the future direction of them will be mainly how to make them and how many characters should be allotted, in other words, the future direction is how to make them more standard and more convenient for users.
