| Under the influence of Chopin's, Paganini's and Schubert's art songs, mixed with Beethoven's and Berlioz's symphonies and added with Verdi's and Berini operas, Liszt's piano music has had a grandiose air, lyrical manifestation, perfect playing skills. The rhapsody is a musical form that have characteristics of Liszt's style. Liszt composed 19 piano works, that is, hungarian rhapsody,. Hungarian rhapsody displays Hungarian history and ethnic customs, express Hungarian spirit and the people's innermost feelings.Hungarian rhapsody is rich in ethnic elements. This work has come of the Hungarian national instrumental dancing, Hungarian city songs and gypsy folk songs and has reflected characterization of Hungarian nation in the musical language. This article considered Hungarian rhapsody as the subject and investigated its nation's elements from the influence of Hungarian folk music to Hungarian rhapsody and national elements to explore the use of musical language and profoundly realize nationality's importance in the music world.The article analyzed Hungarian rhapsody from four aspects. In the first part, Liszt as well as his Hungarian rhapsody was introduced. It contains as fellow: 1, an overview of Liszt from his life experience to profoundly acknowledge the characteristics of his art creation; 2, from the creation in context, socail causes to understand the creative style and musical charateristics of Hungarian rhapsody. The second part studied the influence of Hungarian folk music to Hungarian rhapsody. Elaborate the development of Hungarian folk music; the influence of Hungarian national instrumental dancing to Hungarian rhapsody; the influence of Hungarian city songs to Hungarian rhapsody; the influence of gypsy folk songs to Hungarian rhapsody and the influence of Hungarian folk music in the 19th century to Hungarian rhapsody. The third part, as this article gist, analyzed the application of national elements in terms of musical language of Hungarian rhapsody. This part consists of six aspects of musical form structure, tonality, harmony texture, melodies, rhythm, sound. The part investigates the application of Hungarian elements through analyzing musical language of Hungarian rhapsody. The last part, of the above ,we can see Liszt's contribution to socail music culture;his deep patriotic passion;aesthetic ideas and the implication and value of his woks in real socail life. |
