Folk is not only the national social groups of etiquette, conventional fashion and the habits,and the basic form of national culture, but also one of the important teaching Chinese as a foreign language breakthrough.So how to make folk lesson better is worthy of discussion.This paper points four parts:The first part is a summary of the definition and characteristics of folk customs, and summarizes relevant folk culture concept of foreign Chinese.The second part demonstrates the relationship and importance of folk culture of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The third part surveys the interest of folk and students'culture enthusiasm of study based on a questionaire. In addition to summarizes the Chinese folk culture and verifies whether the second chapter folk classification is reasonable or not.Finally gives advice to the folk culture teaching.First is to adopt the way of teaching, second is to take the form of folk mix. And give some reference contents of folk teaching.
