Research On Folk Culture In Chinese Teaching Materials For Foreigners

Folk custom is a social culture created by the people of a country and a region in the long-term historical and cultural life.It is the general term for the customs and knowledge and experience that are closest to life.Folk culture has distinct regional and national characteristics and can truly reflect the daily life of Chinese people.It is an important entry point and breakthrough point for teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The purpose of teaching is to help international students successfully complete social communication in Chinese.As a carrier of teaching,the textbook for teaching Chinese as a foreign language is not only the link between teachers and students,but also the channel for transition from classroom teaching to social communication.Therefore,the selection of Chinese folk textbooks is essential for the selection of folk culture.This paper mainly expounds the relationship between folk culture and textbooks for teaching Chinese as a foreign language,including the definition and classification of folk culture,the important role of folk culture in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,the way in which folk culture is presented in textbooks,and the principles of folklore culture in Chinese textbooks.This paper systematically analyzes the selection of folk culture in the 1-4 volumes of the New Practical Chinese Textbook,first introduces the textbook design style of the New Practical Chinese Textbook,and then statistically analyzes the selection of folklore cultural factors in the textbook.The statistical analysis of the previous chapter summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of the selection of folk culture in the New Practical Chinese Textbook,and proposes the preparation of folk culture content in the textbook for Chinese as a foreign language.
