Study On The Personality Characteristics Of Patients With Cardiovascular Disease

Purpose:(1) To investigate characteristics of the overall situation of Big Five personality and positive personality among cardiovascular disease, examine the significant differences between gender, disease and demographic variables of the cardiovascular disease'personality characteristics;(2) Understand the existence of differences in personality between heart vascular disease group and the healthy group, (3) Explore the big Five personality traits and positive personality traits of cardiovascular disease and healthy people'determine ability.Methods:Selected 100 patients and 102 healthy human subjects of a dimethyl Hospital in Beijing and a top three hospital in Tianjin, Department of Cardiology, using MCCrae and Cost in 1992 amended the Big Five Personality Questionnaire Brief Version (NEO-FFI) and the self localization of positive personality questionnaire for the measurement tools, using SPSS 11.5 for the data analysis.Results:(1) Cardiovascular disease in the Big Five personality, sense of responsibility. Agreeableness score higher than other personality traits, and personality traits in positive terms, kindness, leadership, adhere got higher score, enthusiasm, self-discipline, sense of humor score are low, and all the positive personality traits scores are above the theoretical values;(2) Different gender, education level, occupation, residence, diseases of the personality characteristics of patients with cardiovascular disease were significant differences;(3) Personality characteristics of patients with cardiovascular disease and healthy people there are significant differences. Compared with healthy people, patients with cardiovascular disease got higher neuroticism. lower agreeableness, lower extraversion, lower humor, lower enthusiasm, lower faith and lower team, lower tolerance, lower equity. lower-Thanksgiving personality characteristics.;(4) By discriminated analysis found that, in the Big Five personality neuroticism, extraversion characteristics, positive personality traits of humor in the incidence of cardiovascular disease has a predictive effect.
