The Nanyin Heritage Survey And Strategies

With compare to formal education, Community Music Education for the Quanzhou Nanyin is acting a more significant, irreplaceable role of safeguarding intangible cultural heritage. Community is an excellent promotional platform for Quanzhou Nanyin. Thought the channel of Quanzhou Nanyin Community Education, it is easier to break the estrangement between community members and mobilize them to consciously participate in the conservation activities of Quanzhou Nanyin activities even become one of the army force of the safeguard and development Quanzhou Nanyin's heritage. It will help to solve the problem of lack of new skillful participants and existing unpopular situation of learning Quanzhou Nanyin. The implement of Quanzhou Nanyin protection system leads to a new historical stage of cultural heritage protection in China.Author had been to a site visit of Quanzhou Nanyin Community Music Education Center, Fujian, Quanzhou. Also, a research conducted from the view of the survival status, internal factors of inheritance patterns such as management system, teaching situation, the input of funds, and other multi-dimensional prospects. The survey interviewed three communities and five Nanyin Society randomly. The aim is analysis and explaining the existing status and problem of Nanyin and tries to make constructive suggestions on Quanzhou Nanyin community music education mode suitable for Nanyin's better future develop in the community. The result provided feasibility proposals in transmission of Quanzhou Nanyin education to further explore the heritage to public giving a useful reference.
