After the 1840 Opium War, China's feudal society began to disintegrate, the foreign capitalist powers into China, along westerly Learning. Gradual nature of Chinese society, economy, politics, culture and other aspects are subject to the impact of Western capitalism. The demands of social life has changed along with the music, the traditional Chinese "elegant music" and "folk music" has been developed cities and can not meet people's needs, so in Shanghai, in the modern commercial capitalism had a high degree of developed cities, produced the first adult love songs, that is pop music. Pop music in the seeds of modern China, there, and the rapid development of Chinese society have a certain impact on society.Republican Shanghai's entertainment culture could fill volumes, very rich in contents, in which pop culture is an important part of urban life. Pop songs, sung widely by the public as an art form, since the late 1920s in Shanghai, women have a close relationship with. Shanghai early songs-mostly women-the main concert, the vast majority of the content of song lyrics also related to women. This paper selected, the thirties for the study period, refer to "Shanghai song name Code", "Li Jinhui pop" and other text data sets, combined with the "declaration" and other press information, to Shanghai early emergence and popularity of pop music starting point, attention to the natural combination of pop music and women, starting from the sight of women, popular songs of the Republic of Shanghai study, which attempts to tease out the rich cultural landscape.This text is divided into introduction, body, conclusion of three parts, the body is divided into three chapters:The first chapter describes the generation of Shanghai and the first pop song of the historical background; Then, began to explore Shanghai with Li Jinhui, represented the main content of the early songs, as with the Song and Dance Ensemble of the initial combination of songs from the beginning to the "little sister" image of the show.
