In this paper, we using Nasometer to study nasalance of mandarin nasal consonant and nasal ending, through the Nasometer to reveal the dynamic changes of nasal, nasalized vowel, nasal ending weakening; studied the nasal degree of adjacent phonemes; explored the relationship between the nasal and tongue; revealed the complexity of the nasal pronunciation. The results showed that the different nasal consonant and nasal ending have different nasalance, the nasal sound's nasalance decreased gradually from four tones. Through the nasalance we can be more objective and accurate to describe the speech, but also provides a new way to study nasal sound.This article introduces the research background of mandarin nasal, and describes the research method and process, and presents the oral and nasal flow signal based on the framework of traditional phonetics research, designed and realized the acoustic analysis platform for nose and mouth in the Matlab environment, proposed a set of nasal flow signal parameters such as: the energy of oral sound and nasal sound,duration,nasalance,formants of oral sound and nasal sound, designed the labeling programs of the nose and mouth flow signals, realized the batch process of parameters by the extraction and preservation.In this paper, we summarized the nasal nasalance, formant, duration and frequency, followed by excessive sound vowels aspects of acoustic characteristics refunding, and puts forward some deficiencies in this article.
