The Inner Contact Between Wu Rulun's Interpersonal Relationship And His Thoughts Of Education

wu Rulun is an important writer, educator in the Late Qing Dynasty.?Throughout his life he was actively exploring Western learning, making endless struggle of modern education for our motherland. He went to Japan to study School System, summarized and made a series of academic thinking. From the valuable literature recording his education ideas, we could find out that Wu Rulun had designed a blueprint for modern school system in China. Therefore, lun could be called a pioneer of Chinese Modern Education. The aim of this paper is going to research some important relationship of lun in his life, and through the research, we are going to explore the profound and positive impacts to lun's Modernization of Education.This thesis includes six parts as follows:PartⅠ: Introduces of the historical background of the late Qing period, and Wu Rulun's life. The historical background mainly includes the background of social relationships and the background of modern education.PartⅡ: This part highlights the family culture of Wu Rulun and how it influenced his thoughts of the formal education in modern time. Also, this part introduces Fang Zongcheng, Lun's association who helped Lun dispatched Tseng Kuo-fan's shogunate.PartⅢ: This part highlights how Tseng Kuo-fan's politic views, talent views, academic views and so on influenced Wu Rulun and his educational thoughts.Part IV: This part highlights Li Hung-chang and his shogunate, and how they influenced the Education of Modernization of Wu Rulun.PartⅤ: This part highlights Wu Rulun's friend—master of the Western education—Yan Fu and how he influenced Wu Rulun's Modern Educational Thoughts.PartⅥ: This is the conclusion of the thesis. Through the research of Lun's important figures of interpersonal communication and relationships, we can glimpse lun's modernization educational development. Only by fully understand the basis of people's relationships, could we reach a more profound grasp of the character formation of its ideology in the contemporary importance.
