Our country proposed a developing goal of building a New Socialist Countryside on the 5th Plenary Session of the 16th CPC Central Committee. After the Great task was proposed, the sights of the whole society gathered at the rural area again. Our country attach great importance to the lives and production development of rural residents, and the development of rural public cultural, as one of the most important aspects, receive more and more attention.Building a new socialist countryside cannot be separated from the construction of rural public cultural, it indicates the level of economic development in rural areas, building the system of rural public cultural services plays an important role in socialist new countryside construction. China is a large agricultural country, spiritual culture development in rural areas not only relates to the harmonious development of rural areas, and also influences the development of harmonious socialist society in our country. However, our rural public cultural development was relatively lag behind in the past cultural development, especially with the large gap between developed countries. Therefore, strengthening our system of rural public cultural services development is currently the focus of the work.This article is divided into five parts, mainly about the current situation and path choice of system of rural public cultural services development under new socialist countryside. This article begins with the basic problems of system of rural public cultural services development, draw the research status of scholars from home and abroad, on the study of basic content, research status and research significance of system of rural public cultural services development. I defined related notions about system of rural public cultural services by reading numerous of books and articles, and made its theoretical meaning clearly. By collecting large amounts of data, particularly grasping the current situation of rural public cultural development in some areas of Jilin Province, and also consulting the current situation of rural public cultural development in other areas, I summed up Common problems and identified the cause of the problem. Finally, on the base of above-mentioned research, I probed the path choice about system of rural public cultural services development.
