The Overview Of The Studies Of Dynamic Auxiliary Word "Guo"

The dynamic auxiliary word"guo"is a high frequency function word.In the last half century,the research of dynamic auxiliary word"guo"become deeper and diversification,the papers which researched dynamic auxiliary word"guo"from all angles are more than hundred.Dynamic auxiliary word is characteristic and flexible,so there are many controversial issues which need to be summarized and unified in"guo"for contributing to language studies,using and teaching. This thesis mainly collect,sort and summarize the viewpoints of original thesises to totally show the research findings of"guo".This article is divided into five parts:I.The Grammaticalization of dynamic auxiliary word"guo"First,in the process of the Grammaticalization of dynamic auxiliary word"guo",there are budding stage,developing stage and ripencess stage.Second,from the follow three aspects,syntacitic structures cognitive domain and semantics,This thesis summarize the thesises of Cao Guoshun (1995),Yu Guangzhong,Zhi Tianjun(1999),Lin Xinnian(2004),Peng Rui2009),Li Yong(2005),Wu Yun(2004),then research the grammaticalization reason of"guo".II.The argument about part of speech of"guo"Li Jinxi(1924),Lu Zhiwei(1951)considered"guo"as a attach adverbs,Yang Bojun(1956)considered"guo"as a particle,Wang Li considered"guo"as a mark.while Lu Zongda,Yu Min(1954) considered"guo"as a suffix.Besides,Hu Yushu(1962),Huang Borong,Liao Xudong(1979),Zhang Zhigong(1982)considered"guo"as a auxiliary.III.The grammatical meaning of"guo"The usage and grammar meanings of dynamic auxiliary word"guo"are complicated and various,thus its angle and way of classification are also different.Long Guofu(1958) and Hu Yushu(1965) insist on regarding"guo"as a whole word,while Kong lingda(1995),Zhang Xiaoling(1986AB) and Liu Yuehua(1988) insist on the dichotomy.With the dichotomy as a standard,This thesis summarize the the grammatical meaning of"guo1"and"guo2".IV."guo"and its correlative patternsMainly through two aspects,"guo" combined with the notional words and phrases,this article summarize the correlative patterns of"guo".V.The comparison of"guo"and"le"There are both similarities and differences in the usage and the grammatical meaning of"guo"and"le"by research on the thesises of Lv Shuxiang(1980),Jia Shanghu(1983),Zhang Yisheng(2000),Liu Yuehua(1988).The former explores the phenomenon of their substitution,connection and exclusion and the latter discusses their grammatical meanings,the words which appear at the same time and the situation of the overlapping of verbs.In addition,this article also summarize dialectology of"guo",Chinese language teaching for foreigners of"guo"and Monographs of"guo"to make the overview more comprehensive.
