Research On The Construction Of China's Rural Ecological Civilization

Building a new socialist countryside is a major historic task proposed during the Fifth Session of the Sixteenth Central Committee of the CPC(Communist Party of China), and building ecological civilization of the new countryside is an indispensable component of it. Guided by ecological civilization, building a new socialist countryside means that relationship between man and nature should be included within the economic and social development goals and resource continuity and the capacity of ecological environment should be taken as important factors for evaluating economic construction in order to promote the coordination of rural economic and social development and the environment. At present, rural ecological environment in our country is not in good state and has suffered great pollution. Therefore, we should quicken the pace of the construction of ecological civilization, the construction of a sound ecological environment, promote the sustainability of the countryside and the agriculture, transform agriculture development mode, adjust the industrial structure and guarantee the overall goal of ecological safety so as to realize the harmonious development of the material civilization, political civilization, spiritual civilization and ecological civilization.This paper centers on the analysis and research of rural ecological civilization construction. In the first part, the connotation of ecological civilization and the rural ecological civilization are presented. The second part mainly introduces the theoretical basis of rural ecological civilization construction in our country, including Marxist ideology of ecological civilization and ecological civilization ideology in our history. The third part is centered around the present situation of rural ecological civilization construction in our country and its reason analysis. At present, environment in rural China is seriously threatened. What's worse, the rural environment is burdened by the unreasonable use of agricultural chemicals, the pollution from township enterprises, livestock farming systems, rural domestic garbage and sewage and so on. Environmental pollution acts as the blocking stone for the rural ecological civilization construction. Reasons behind it include weak consciousness of the rural related subjects, extensive growth mode of industrial enterprises in villages and towns and so on. In the last part, the author puts forward five measures to perfect rural ecological civilization construction by following the principle of linking theory with practice, such as perfecting propaganda system of rural environment protection, perfecting law of environmental protection and regulation mechanism of environmental management, strengthening pollution control of township enterprises, developing recycling economy of agriculture and so on.
