1992 years of diplomatic relations between China and South Korea since, in Korea and Chinese learners in China have mushroomed, increases year by year. Several years ago, the korean government has organized Chinese class at middle and primary schools, now there are a varity of Chinese classes at schools. In the course of learning a language, the speaking ability is the most important part to a language learner. The traditional teaching method of Korea was not very flexible which was only depend on teachers. Such kind of teaching methods made Chinese learners in korea good at writing, but poor at listening and speaking.At present, oral Chinese teaching with applied TV series is taking more seriously. Because it has broken the traditional teaching pattern, changed the phenomenon that listening divorced from speaking. and improved Chinese learners'comprehension ability. Besides, the vivid scenes appeared on TV helps them to learn more about Chinese culture, also enhancing their capibility of international communication.So, the author used Taiwan TV series "It started with a kiss" to design the pattern of Chinese teaching, in this way he can help intermediate Chinese learners in Korea learn better.The article is divided into following five partsThe introduction part introduces Purpose of the research, Methods of the research and Target of the research.The chapter1 introduces the conception and features of the theory of situated learning and Meyer's cognitive theory of multimedia learning, also introduces the educational value, features, pros and cons and problems on the teaching of oral Chinese with applied TV series. Whats more, it also introduces the present situation related to the research of applied TV series and the insufficiency of existing research.Chapter2 expounds the analysis on the feasibility of taking TV series as intermediate spoken-Chinese materials, the main analysis content contains four parts. First, educational value, features, pros and cons and problems on the teaching of oral Chinese with applied TV series. Second, the reasons for choosing "It Started With a Kiss" as intermediate spoken-Chinese teaching materials. Third, The analysis on the function of the TV series "It Started With a Kiss".Forth, the reasons for choosing "It Started With a Kiss" as intermediate spoken-Chinese teaching materials. And at this part it also indicated the words including in TV series and new IISK word scale, vocabulary outline of Chinese Teaching as a Second Languge, vocabulary of Chinese level and compare the outline on Chinese scale. Chapter3 made the evaluation rule of TV series' situation in order to choose the best teaching spot. Making out the useful 14 parts according to the rules and give a presentation about every part. Show the teaching approaches, environments and plans for intermediate spoken-Chinese based on the TV series "It Started With a Kiss"In Chapter4, the author selected the one scene from the 14, then designed the specific examples for teaching. While designing,in order to let learners have further understanding on Chinese custom and real life, the author paid great attention to promote learners' listening, speaking and reading skills. It is also an efficient way for learners to master new words on five and six level words based on the way designed by the author.The last is the conclusion, It summarizes the result of the research on intermediate spoken-Chinese teaching based on the TV series "It Started With a Kiss". The author hopes that these teaching process will be helpful to enhance the speaking ability of intermediate Chinese learners in Korea.
