Chinese Writing is a comprehensive, practical course, by which students can integrate the basic skills of words and sentences into writing, to consolidate and utilize the basics of Chinese language, to further promote the skills of listening, speaking and reading. However, in the course of Chinese writing teaching, I found that the majority of Thai students felt anxious before classes, feeling that they would not perform well; and they are not good at writing, worrying that they can make mistakes when they have the writing classes. The teachers also felt writing difficult to teach. How to break the current teaching mode of "teachers explain the model essays-Student Writing-teacher marking", select an effective writing teaching methodology and apply it to the actual teaching; How to arouse students' learning interest and enthusiasm? How to practice in language skills, and cultivate students outside the habit of thinking, and improve the ability to express? These are all the difficulties faced by teachers. The task-based language teaching method emerged in the 1980 s emphasizes on learning by doing, which transforms the basic concepts into specific practice in the classes. This article discusses the specific application of Tasked-based Teaching Method in Chinese practical writing class in Chinese Department in Sisaket Rajabhat University through writing teaching practice, and verifies the effect of this teaching approach through the questionnaire. And this paper adopted observation methods and the questionnaire to approve that the Task-based Teaching Method in the Chinese writing teaching is the effective way to improve students'language competence and the quality of education.This paper consists of four chapters:Chapter I serves as an introduction, which introduces the significance of the topic, reviews relevant literature from the research papers, and presents the research methodology.Chapter II describes the series of related survey and analysis about the factors involved in the teaching design of the Chinese practical writing teaching course in Chinese Department in Sisaket Rajabhat University.Chapter III introduces the related theories of Task-based Teaching Approach, and carries on a teaching design of the Chinese practical writing teaching course according to these theories.Chapter IV presents a sample lesson based on Task-based Writing Teaching Approach, and shows the effect of the application of Task-based Writing Teaching Approach in Chinese Practical Writing.The end of the article summarizes the paper points, and points out the value of this research and the inadequacies.
