With the increasingly fierce market competition and the continuous improvement of requirements for knowledge innovation, organizations need collaboration to complete the sharing of knowledge and resources in order to proceed knowledge innovation quickly and effectively. Based on the background, collaborative knowledge innovation comes into being. The emergence of collaborative knowledge innovation is the inevitable development for knowledge society. The research about collaborative knowledge innovation focuses on the use of Web2.0platform to form high-quality wisdom of crowd and promote knowledge sharing, for the sake of maintaining organizations' competitive advantage. At present, the study of collaborative knowledge innovation is in its infancy and there is no a relatively complete set of theory and methodology. The technical level has become the academic concern, such as the implementation, comparison and evaluation of collaborative innovation technology. However, there is little research on the internal mechanism of collaborative knowledge innovation and the exiting achievement focused on different aspects. In addition, during the interaction process of collaborative knowledge innovation, there is a plenty of cognitive conflict because of the personal knowledge heterogeneity. Different persons have different cognitive outcome about the same thing, and the cognitive differences trigger the emergence of cognitive conflict. Conflict management theory suggests that if cognitive conflict is handled inappropriately, it would turn into emotion conflict and inhibit the synergy among groups. Therefore, in-depth study on the role of cognitive conflict could help us understand the internal mechanism of collaborative knowledge innovation and make the smooth interaction among the participants. Based on the above analysis, this article took the typical system of Web2.0--Wikipedia as an example. Firstly, this paper analyzed the existence forms of cognitive conflict in the collaborative editing process, and then proposed the cognitive conflict measurement using the similarity to calculate the degree of cognitive conflict from the levels of sentence and version. A featured article has been chosen to test and verify the measurement and the cognitive conflict is classified into two types. At last, by introducing the page quality, this paper summarized the laws of cognitive conflict on page quality and constructed a tree of page editing history to intuitive understanding the development of collaborative process. This research work not only enriches the cognitive conflict theory and conflict management theory, but also provides a new research perspective of automatic page quality evaluation. The laws of cognitive conflict on page quality help us understanding the role of cognitive conflict played in the process of collaborative knowledge innovation to perfect collaborative knowledge innovation model. Also, this paper gives the guidance of the Wiki system design, development to a certain extent. Moreover, in an organization, reasonable and effective use of cognitive conflict would improve the work efficiency or quality sometimes, rather than exclusion and mitigation the cognitive conflict.
