Emperial Annotations of Tao Te Ching by Qing Shizu is the only work of Tao Te Ching which preserves original editon of Emperial Annotations. It is regarded as ancient rare books, also the research object of this thesis. Investigated from perspective of the era and academic background, we can not only insight into the young emperor Governance the actual intent of the old order, but also help us to understand the ideological and artistic features.
