Analysis Of Errors Made By Indonesian High School Students In Hunan During The Acquisition Of Chinese Measure Words "Zhi", "Tou", "Tiao" And "Pi"

The abundance of measure words is the characteristic of Chinese language. Among the quantifiers, this paper only chose "Zhi","Tou","Tiao" and "Pi" as the research area, since they are easy to be confused and be in frequently used. This thesis includes five parts. The first part is the introduction. It mainly introduces the research background, topic significance and complexity and uniqueness of Chinese quantifiers, as well as the problems of the oversea's studying; The second part is lasted evolution of the four Chinese measure words of "Zhi","Tou","Tiao" and "Pi". This part briefly introduces the development of the four words in each time; the third part describes the methodology of the survey, and the analysis of the results gathered by conducting the survey. Then based on the results of the survey; The forth part compare the four modern Chinese measure words:"Zhi","Tou","Tiao" and "Pi" and analyze errors encountered in the survey, According to the survey, we point out the common usage errors; the last is the conclusion, summarizing the complete thesis.This research, using some basic principles of cognitive linguistics and meaning's evolve of Chinese characters try to classifier the usage of "zhi", "tou", "tiao", "pi" and expect can produce a full and reasonably explanation by the time, and provide some help for Indonesian students who learn Chinese as a foreign language.
