Under current education mechanism in China, the stresses from examination-oriented education forced students to whirl around the baton of entering a higher schooling level, which seriously binds students' personality and creativity, and leads to the lack of humanistic quality before entering universities. In addition, speciality in university is divided carefully, and broadened major is too narrow, all which prevent students from receiving qualified education of humanistic quality. It is an obvious fact that current college students are lack of humanistic quality, which requires an immediate resolution.Among all the courses with functions of educating humanistic quality, College Chinese is the first representative of historical culture and literature connotation. Its teaching, consequently, is more "educatable', and an important channel to implement education humanistic quality.Based on precious relevant researches, and combined the author's more than 10 years teaching experience, the paper, to the current question of humanistic quality and College Chinese teaching, provides some strategies to implement humanistic quality in College Chinese teaching. The paper is divided into four parts.The first part is Introduction. After describing the development and research of College Chinese teaching, the author provides the thoughts and research method of the paper.The second part discusses the necessity and feasibility of implementing education of humanistic quality in College Chinese teaching. The current situation is serious. Human quality is the fundamental attribute of College Chinese, and the deep connotations of College Chinese provide strong promise to implement education of humanistic quality.The third part rethinks the current situation in implementing College Chinese teaching. The situation is serious. The situation includes unclear course position, directions ignoring the education of humanistic quality, the low quality of teachers which effects College Chinese teaching, and obsolete and simplistic and teaching and assessing method which can not embody the spirits of humanistic quality education.The fourth part discusses the strategy of implementing humanistic quality in College Chinese teaching. Those strategies include three aspects, which are identifying the position of implementing humanistic quality in College Chinese teaching, construction a high quality teaching team of College Chinese teaching, and improving teaching and assessing method of College Chinese teaching.
