Existence And Transcendence

This thesis attempts to analyze and summarize Jaspers existence philosophy fromthe perspective of theory origin, theoretical purport and basic content. Based onmentioned above, it interprets and reflects the theoretical contribution of the existencephilosophy, theoretical implications and existing problems.The thesis indicates, Kant's rational and intellectual relationship theory,Kierkegaard's existential thought is the key to Jaspers existence philosophy, whichprovides theoretical foundations for Jaspers existence philosophy. Jaspers constructedthe existence philosophy based on technology improving material well-being, butresulting in spiritual crisis. Through interpreting Jaspers existence philosophy, the thesisreveals the meaning of human being and the solution of spiritual crisis.Jaspers existence philosophy focuses on survival, existence and transcendence.Survival is the foundation of everything, which reveals the existence of human beingand the whole world. We can resolve the problems of existence from the perspective ofsurvival, however the essential of human being is transcendence survival. Survival isabove all and the meaning of existence doesn't exist without it. Human being can beconsidered as the abandoned existence, which must seek the trueness by decision offreedom and transcendence. Actively exploiting the dilemma for moderns, the survivalphilosophy contributes to the reconstruction of the relationship between philosophy andscience and reveals the meaning of life for moderns. It also has important influences onSutter, Camus who are representatives of existentialism and the New Freudian;meanwhile we must understand that Jaspers existence philosophy denies the objectivelaw and rationalism, which is somewhat religious.
